Sound View Remodel

Sweeping views of the Puget Sound beckon from this home perched on a site above a steeply sloping hillside.  Our main goal with this remodel was to simply get out of the way of those views and let the residents interact with it on a moment-to-moment basis as they move through the daily rituals of cooking, eating, gathering, and living. 

All of the public spaces of the home were remodeled.  A small covered porch was enclosed to add a Butler’s Pantry to the reimagined Kitchen space.  Oversized sliding glass partitions were added to the Living Room and the Kitchen to maximize views and access to the redone deck.
